THis is bloodwork from my PCP, not my clinic, so not extensive, but I was below 200 before TRT and now over 900! amazing. feeling so much better, down 20 lbs and getting much stronger in the gym. new lease on life.

Perform in the bedroom TONIGHT!"  It's great that TRT is coming getting so much attention, and becoming less shameful but it almost seems like some of these clinics are claiming that no matter what, TRT is the end-all-be-all cure for everything that ails you. Its a little misleading.

Something that surprised the heck out of me during my commute home last night was when I turned on the radio, I caught the tail end of an ad for a clinic that was promoting TRT for women! WHAT!?! What?! Really? That's... well, that's sort of badass!  The lame thing is now I can't remember the name of the clinic but I don't think it was one I'd heard of before.  It also sounded like it was local to the greater Seattle area.  Have any of you heard this or heard of clinics promoting TRT for women?  I'll keep an ear open and post a link when I find out which one it was for.

I know some of the clinics offer TRT for women, but it seems to be a lesser focus than that for men - I suppose for good reason considering women's levels are typically significantly lower than men's. Still, I've heard of women benefitting from low-dose TRT, but I was stunned to hear it said on the radio in that 'Monster Jam Truck Rally Radio Announcer' voice.  Sorta cool, IMO.

Are they a sponsor? Or just a good lab? I went through a clinic Ways2Well in Houston. Didn’t research all the options but like their recommendations. 1 week in to trt treatment. How do you know who to hitch your wagon to for the long haul? Obviously you need ongoing testing and recommendations…etc. even my local gym is about to start this kind of service. Not sure what to do. Maybe I’m overthinking this.

I had my consultation with Ashley yesterday and was super impressed with his explanation of all my levels and their recommended course of action.  Way better than the “You’re good. See you in 6 months’” I got from my endocrinologist. Plus the amount of tests they ran was FAR more comprehensive than what my PCP or Endocrinologist had done.  I’m a huge fan and can’t wait to get started on REAL therapy!
