Hi All.

Interested in any advice on current situation which I expect to be side effects from TRT.

I'm on 150mg/week split into 3 doses, 1500iu/week of HCG also in 3 doses currently in 3rd week of treatment.

Week 1 didn't feel any different. Week 2 I felt like superman, full of energy, great confidence, excellent recovery after gym, by the end of week 2 I was getting an uncomfortable ache in the balls so I suspect my natural production was shutting down.

Mid-way through week 3 I was overcome by fatigue, struggling to wake up in the mornings, napping during the day etc. Then by the weekend started getting unpleasant general anxiety feelings and by Sunday just woke up feeling badly depressed without really any cause - I was genuinely considering quitting the TRT.

My clinic doesn't require bloods until week 6, but I can get some done privately in the meantime though not sure what to check, thinking possibly due to my high body fat % and HCG dose it could be elevated E2 - or it could just be my body getting used to things and might just be a temporary adjustment.

Anyone experienced this before any tips to get through it?

Got my first follow up labs completed. High point: my testosterone levels are at an all time high of 886 total and 22.7 free (up from 105 and 5.8 - YIPPEEE!). Low point: my estradiol is are also at an all-time high of 68.7 (up from 38.1 - Anti-yippeee...).

I know my weight has a huge part to play in this. Same for my inconsistent exercise. Funny but not funny, the day I went in for my blood draw, I noticed that my nipples were tender. That little itch should have told me something, right?

The last thing I want to do is get on an AI but I am worried that continued weight loss and supplements may not be enough to get my E2 back into range. My protocol is 40mg 4x a week (160mg total) an I am taking a 5mg daily dose of tadalafil (Cialis) which has shown to help with E2 levels. I wonder if pinning less, more frequently would have any impact?

Has anyone else experienced this? Has anything other than an AI worked for you? I hear that Grape Seed Extract and broccoli (lots and lots and lots of broccoli) as well as other super dark leafy greens can help. Anyone tried pinning lower doses more frequently?

Curious how many of you have experienced water retention on TRT and how bad has it been for you? I just finished my second full week of injections (160m Test Cyp weekly, pinning 40m every other day) and my weight jumped up 6lbs over the last 3 days. I'm hoping that it's just something I ate but find it odd because my diet hasn't varied much over the past month or so. I'm on my second month of Wegovy (semaglutide) and have been losing consistently each week - sometimes daily.

If you have experienced water retention, when did you first notice it? How long did it last? What did you do to remedy it?
