This article from Muscle & Fitness came across my phone's news feed today. Light-weight but interesting. I half think this is sponsored by a couple of clinics as the article identifies a TRT clinic (by name) as the #1 online clinic, and 'Maximus Tribe' as breakthrough medication to 'naturally' increase your testosterone. The website for the clinic in the article offers very little information without filling out an 'evaluation' and giving them your email address... never mind. I hate websites that want you to do this. It's invasive and my inbox is already filled with enough junk mail that I can't ever seen to fully/successfully unsubscribe from.

Maximus Tribe, on the other hand, looks like a clinic who offers a few different supplements and peptides for whatever ails you - increasing testosterone, ED, weight loss, cognitive improvement, and hair loss. Their TRT alternative looks like an enclomiphene (enclomifene?) based supplement that claims to be able to increase your natural testosterone by 200-400 points and costs $200 per month.

Do any of you have experience with either of these companies? What about enclomiphene? Has anyone tried this as an alternative to Testosterone replacement? Was it good, bad, meh? Any side effects? Any unforeseen benefits?

I just got the email that Matrix sent about the DEA telemedicine regulations stuff...

I have a feelings..

I'm not sure if anyone else thinks "crazy" stuff, like, I'm pretty sure the trend in crashing testosterone probably isn't just some random coincidental natural occurrence.. but, those types of thoughts have crossed my mind since "coming back to life" (for lack of a better description)..

I researched for 3 years, got cold feet a good many times before deciding to give it a go. One of my biggest concerns is that historically, I don't like to depend on outside sources of virtually anything.. example in this particular case would be, "what happens if I become reliant on this substance, and someday it's not available".. 😞

The email puts me right back to that frame of mind.. I feel so much better. I'm making forward progress to figure out my back, pursuing PT, and possibly surgery.. trying to do some resistance training, have totally overhauled my diet.. you know, all the "things"! Like Huberman said "testosterone makes doing feel good" 😶

Now I am somewhat worried.. thinking "should I just ween myself off now?"

If that thing goes through, I'm in Wisconsin! Matrix is in Florida! I mean, I'd love to visit Florida, but obviously I'd have to find some shitty local clinic here? 😭

Anyway.. thanks for the "vent".. maybe MY estrogen is high.. gave me some negative feels.. lol

I've commented, I've posted but here goes my story.

I've been on/off TRT for a couple years now. Specialist (urologist) inject T every other week, blood work yearly. Found the group and have learned more then most doctors I feel. Now using my PCP to run some blood work and getting the T subscribed so insurance will cover. Using Matrix for HCG and their expertise. Just started to use a CPAP about 3 weeks ago.

SHBG 20.7 (10-50) I feel is low
Total: 1037 (250-1100)
Free: 243.6 (46-224)
BioAvailable: 490.3 (110-575)
Estradiol: 78 (<39)
PSA: .33 (<=4)

Injecting 4 times a week. MWF and Sat Evening. Skipped Saturdays Injection tested Monday Morning.

Have an appt with Matrix on the 15th. Currently injecting 40mg 4x a week for 160mg, PCP says to drop to 140mg a week. Not changing anything until I talk with Matrix.

Still not much energy, definitely not as tired throughout the day, still don't want to wake up in the morning. Like never feel rested. Started working out/running dropped my cholesterol 50 points in 3 months with exercise and diet. Having a Wendy's walking range from work was a killer, literally. lol

PCP says to drop dosage because of cardiovascular risks bla bla. Studies from the 1920's. They really need some continuing education if they want to actually help people. Which I get it, they are a PCP and have to dabble in everything unless they send you to a specialist, and even the in network specialist are pretty useless.

So thoughts on the still low energy etc?

I'm 42 5' 9" hovering around 210lbs and even with the running/exercise/diet I'm hovering there for the past year really. Got down to 205, then jumped back to 210lbs. Take 5000iu Vitamin D daily as well and that level came back 39 (30-100) so I think that's still low and based on the podcast with Sean, I feel like I may need to double or triple this to get my Vitamin D to go up to a more average range. Any input is helpful. Thanks gents!
